Lately I`ve been busy illustrating a CD -cover and booklet for a finnish artist Anssi Kela. There will be 11 illustrations inside the booklet: one for every song. I`ll post some of them here soon as the CD comes out. Here is a cover for his CD -single "Aamu".

SPLIT LIP HORROR WEBCOMIC IN PRINT FOR THE FIRST TIME

Split Lip debuted in Oct. 2006 and has published 24 stories – over 275 pages of free comics – at www.webcomicsnation.com/splitlip. Each story is written by Sam Costello and drawn by artists from all over the world, including Sami Makkonen (Blue, Deadworld: Slaughterhouse), John Bivens (Comic Book Tattoo), and Jason Ho (Agnes Quill).

Split Lip Volume 1 features the work of Makkonen, Bivens, and nine other cartoonists from the U.S., UK, Latin America, and Europe and has been described as "very well-done, very professional ... each story packs a punch" by Comics Should Be Good.

Cover for the Clever Whitesheet #1. CW is a 6 issue mini-series with sci-fi/horror-crime themes from Ryan Burton and Niko Walter. If the book gets picked up you will see the remaining 5 covers too. All done by me.

Deadworld finished

Just finished illustrating Deadworld Slaughterhouse. Still planning to do whole new cover for the TPB if I only have time. We will see. I would like to use photos and stuff so it could look something like the CD cover of the previous post.

2009

It`s new year and it seems that I`m going to break my back with the workload I have promised to do. Also mental illnesses will come. Here is a CD -single cover for the finnish band called Rödsögården. There will be another covers after this one. Deadworld Slaughterhouse will be finished in few days. And I will continue with the Hatter M vol 2 but don`t have approval to show any art yet. Sorry.
But it will be the coolest thing I`ve done so far, I can promise.
